Since 1947, Monthelon, nestled in the heart of the southern slopes of Épernay, has been the birthplace of a unique winemaking journey. It was here that Julien Chopin — a visionary with a passion for wine — founded his brand with just one hectare of vines and a dream: to craft exceptional Champagnes that reflect both his expertise and the character of his terroir.
A Family Legacy in the Pursuit of Excellence
From one generation to the next, the Chopin family has carried on this pursuit of excellence. In 1969, Henri, Julien’s son, gave new momentum to the estate by expanding the Champagne range and welcoming visitors to the vineyard. In 2006, Emmanuel, Julien’s grandson, took over the reins with an approach that blends tradition and innovation, further shaping and affirming the estate’s identity.

Emmanuel favors low-dosage Champagnes, allowing the purity of the aromas and the finesse of the bubbles to shine through.
